A Brand New Me!

I'm feeling so rejuvenated lately!  Are you reading about my new healthy lifestyle?  If so, you'll know I've lost 8 pounds in 13 days!  It's not just the weight loss that feels great (and trust me it DOES), but the new found energy and sense of self.  I am playing with my boys more and feeling like I want to pursue my purpose in life.  I know I am already doing that with raising my family, but I want to pursue who I am as an individual as well.

Most of you already know that I sing and play keyboard.  My heart's passion is leading worship.  Right now I am in a supportive role under our amazing worship leaders.  I play keys and sing back up with the occasional song to lead.  I help with the choir as well and hopefully next month will be co-leading a rehearsal.  I am so grateful they put so much confidence in me and allow me to be a part of what's going on in our church.  I have also started doing some admin work for the church - which I thrive on!  I LOVE using my brain that way and feeling useful again!  Most recently I have taken on the responsibility of updating the churches FaceBook page.  I am starting to feel like I'm thriving again and it's so wonderful!

To complete it all, I would love to be leading more, but I know God has me where He wants me right now and I need to be content with what He has for me.  And I am, for sure.

It just really feels like things are moving in a forward direction for all of our lives in my family right now and it's awesome!

Our Pastor is speaking on Aiming your Attitude tomorrow - I'm trying to prepare myself for the mounds of conviction that is going to come over me :)  I posted this on our FB page today in preparation for it:  "Attitudes are contagious. Are yours worth catching?" ~Dennis and Wendy Mannering.

I hope everyone has a safe and loving place to worship God tomorrow!  If you haven't found that place yet, try one out or just have some good old church right in your living room!  Make some time for God tomorrow because He always makes time for you!  I love you friends!
