All About Aiden!

I haven't done an update strictly for Aiden in forever! So here goes...

He's not quite sure about his Bumbo yet :) He's not completely steady with is neck when sitting up yet so he gets tired pretty fast.

He does however enjoy his Exersaucer! Again he can't be in it for a really long time, but while he's there he can spin the chickens and plays with the edge of the seat.

This is the amazing smile I get to see every day! Almost any time he sees me, this is what he does. SO PRECIOUS! He is so vocal and has an infectious laugh.

He started rolling to his side almost a month ago. He could practically roll from his back to his belly.

On Saturday I laid him down for tummy time and he immediately rolled over! I thought it was a fluke so I tried again, and sure enough he did it again...and again and again! He is officially rolling over! Oh and he can go all the way from back to front now too.

We are working on transitioning to no swaddle for a couple of different reasons. One being that he always gets out of it anyway and the other being the rolling over. I'm afraid he'll roll from his back to his belly and get stuck which isn't good. He's been doing pretty good for nap times but I'm not brave enough to not swaddle him at night yet. Maybe once my hubby is home from his trip :)

His four month appointment was yesterday. Aiden weighs 14 lbs 10 oz (40%), is 25.5 inches long (70%) and his head is 42 cm (40%). The doctor wanted to know how tall everyone in the family is because he has shot up in height quite a bit. I think I might be one of those Moms where her kids are taller than her, and I'm not short! I think it will be fun :)
