My amazing best friend Patti has graciously offered to let me stitch something for her new baby that is coming in August! I'm so excited - for the baby and the project! I would love to share with you the amazingly cute patterns I found, but I want it to be a surprise for her so you'll just have to wait. I was amazed at how many patterns I found on Etsy.com. I found a great pattern for Patti's daughter on there. I found Everett's (the new baby) pattern on another site, but I think it's perfect. Then I picked verses to go with each of them. I'm going to incorporate at least their initials into the patterns and add the verses.
When I saw the quality of finished cross-stitch work that was sold on Etsy I was really surprised. One I found just said something like "Trust in God" in very simple text and only 4" in diameter. It was $35!!!!! I think for now I'll just make stuff for family and friends, but you never know.

So now I'm totally jealous! I have these frames from Adeline's room...I bought two sets of the wall art that matches the nursery so I could take one set apart and use it for something else but have all the frames match. I want a cross-stitch project from you! :) I'd love a verse to be able to use in one of the frames. Let me know if you're up for it and I can give you more specifics. But it's okay if you're booked up for now...I won't hold it against you. ;) Love ya!
